Reflexology

Foot reflexology is a type of bodywork which focuses on the feet, with the practitioner manipulating reflex areas in the feet which correspond with specific areas of the body. Reflexology can be used a complementary therapy, with a patient receiving foot reflexology treatments in addition to other types of cares, while some people also believe that it is effective as alternative therapy, in which foot reflexology is the primary treatment provided to the patient for their condition. A number of claims are made both for and against this form of bodywork. However foot reflexology is unlikely to cause harm, even if it does not directly generate correlative benefits, and for those who are not ticklish, it is an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable experience regardless of the therapeutic outcomes.
